Unexpected Surprises.

In the weeks before we moved, we came upon a small, motherless kitten in need of a home. Now, the absolute last thing anyone needs when they are buying and selling properties is a 2 week old kitten needing bottle feeding every 4 hours, not able to walk steadily on her own an needing to be lifted into the litter box. So what did Farmer Bob and I do? We adopted her.

Steve Nicks was 250 grams, 2 weeks old and ridiculously adorable. She bonded instantly with Farmer Bob and wormed her way into our two older cats hearts.

imageShe slept in a moving box as we drove the truck from city to country. On her first day at the farm she wandered into a little patch of sun and fell asleep.

She grew bigger, stronger and cheekier as the weeks turned into months.

And now, she is a native farm cat sleeping in front of the wood fire, chasing bugs and mousing like a champion. Welcome to the family little one!
